What's in my gym bag: the essentials I never leave without
By Kaia Reyes ยท
I used to show up to the gym and realize I had forgotten something every single time. Water, a hair tie, headphones, a towel. Now my bag stays packed and I just refill it. This is everything in it.
The bag
The Gym Bag with Shoe & Wet Pocket has a separate pocket for shoes and a wet pocket for sweaty clothes, which means my clean stuff stays clean. It fits over my shoulder, so I can walk to the gym without it bumping my legs.
Water
I drink way more when my water is cold and the bottle is cute, I won't pretend otherwise. The Quencher ProTour Flipstraw 30 oz holds enough for a whole session and the flip straw means no unscrewing lids between sets.
Hair
Claw clips for pilates and stretching, a scrunchie for heavy days. The 12-Pack Claw Clips is a set of twelve, so I keep some in the bag, some at home and some in the car.
Warm-up tools
- Fabric booty bands. The Bala Bands Booty Resistance Bands come in three strengths and the fabric does not roll up my thighs like the thin rubber ones.
- Wrist and ankle weights for walks and pilates days. I like the Bala Bangles Ankle & Wrist Weights.
The small stuff
- A small towel
- Headphones and a charging cable
- Deodorant and a travel face mist
- A snack for after, always
Pack it once, refill it after each workout, and you will never have that I forgot my water moment again.
